The Black Barn
Capacity: 1-400 PERSONS

Cinema Style – 400 persons, Banqueting Style – 240 persons, Cocktail Style – 400 persons, Conference – 200 persons. The Black Barn is an unpretentious stark element designed not to detract from the natural beauty of Droombos. This is beauty and the beast, where in the story the beast is uncovered as a true and giving spirit that is totally unpretentious in it quest. That is the Black Barn, harsh and stark by nature, but a 700 square meter multifunctional conference and events venue by design and the largest facility at Droombos.
De Rooie Gallery
Capacity: 1-150 PERSONS
Cinema Style – 150 persons, Banqueting Style – 80 persons, Cocktail Style – 150 persons, Conference – 50 persons. A charming old school but practical venue for most functions and conferences. This dramatic rammed earth structure can house groups of up to 150 people in a minimalistic or dramatic manner. The natural beauty of this venue requires very little dressing up to ensure a totally unique experience.
Camelthorn Garden
Capacity: 1-200 PERSONS
Size: 79M2
The Camelthorn Garden is astoundingly beautiful. Banqueting Style: 150 persons, Cocktail Style – 200 persons, Chapel Style - 200 persons. Our indigenous Eden features two magnificent 500+ year old camel thorn trees, with expansive lawns as far as the eye can see. Aside from our prized indigenous giants, Droombos is also home to 100 poplar trees, 140 apple trees, a massive eucalyptus, wild fig and a fair number of cherry trees and wild mulberries.
Shed’s Garden
Capacity: 1-150 PERSONS
Our Camelthorn Trees - Acacia Giraffe Banqueting Style – 100 persons, Cocktail Style – 150 persons, Chapel Style – 100 persons. Camelthorn trees are not unique to Namibia but at the same time are very uniquely Namibian. This National tree of Namibia is a protected specie and visitors should take note that these trees may not be damaged. Cut or chopped.Camelthorns are found across Namibia including the Namib Desert and this is made possible by its deep root system that grows to a depth of up to 60 meters. Intelligence is part of the Camelthorns survival kit and it goes into self-defense mode as soon as animals start munching on its leaves. This they do by secreting a sharp garlic-like odor that turns animals off. The tree also warns other trees in the process.
Apple Grove Garden
Capacity: 1-200 PERSONS
Banqueting Style – 150 persons, Cocktail Style – 200 persons, Chapel Style – 150 persons. Just imagine: Long tables set under the far-reaching branches of the camel thorn tree - perfect for baby showers, kitchen teas, picnics, birthday celebrations, wedding ceremonies and more!
The Library
Capacity: 1-40 PERSONS
Banqueting Style (Longtable) – 36 persons, Cocktail Style – 40 persons, Chapel Style – 40 persons, Boardroom style – 36 persons. This most popular venue at Droombos is elegant in a most understated manner. Suitable for groups of up to 40 people there are hardly any limits to what the Library can become. Used mainly for small conferences and meetings it also doubles as an excellent venue for fine dining.
Asado Braai
Capacity: 1-75 PERSONS
Banqueting Style – 50 persons, Cocktail Style – 75 persons. Namibians and people visiting the Country are in love with cooking in the open. Asado allows a visible display of our very own “braai masters” plying their trade on open fires. This venue is most often book by groups seated under the trees enjoying drinks within full view of the activities around the fires.
